Band Profiles

Taxi Violence
Since getting together over a jam session at a military base, Taxi Violence have gone on to stake their rightful claim as one of South Africa’s most prized independent rock acts, rocking crowds, winning awards and gathering a legion of ardent followers wherever their music is heard.
With an attitude towards their music that shuns conventional record industry practices, the band have managed to single-handedly, and independently, achieve in a few years what a lot of bands don’t achieve in a lifetime, whilst still retaining their artistic freedom and integrity.
Machineri
Machineri was formed in 2008 by Sannie Fox and Andre Geldenhuys.
The band is a 3 piece consisting of two American Fender Stratocasters (Sannie and Andre), Drum (Daniel Huxham) and Lead Vocal (Sannie). The sound is predominantly Blues-Rock. Sannie writes the songs and lyrics and borrows as much from literature and poetry as from real life and politics.
