Put Foot Foundation
This is a volunteer based, public beneficiary organisation (PBO) started out of the need to tackle the daily plight and indignity of children with no school shoes. It operates across the whole of South Africa, particularly in the less privileged and rural areas, as well as in Southern Africa on special occasion or when special needs arise. The Put Foot Foundation has three principal objectives:
- To help the thousands of school children in South Africa who are so poor that their families cannot afford to buy them shoes.
- To conserve and protect endangered animals such as the rhino.
- To make funding available to and assist with other Section 18 PBPs working for the greater good of our country.
