Old Mutual Music Concerts

Old Mutual is the proud sponsor of  both Old Mutual Music at the Lake and the National Choir Festival.

The Old Mutual Music at the Lake concerts are a splendid way to relax into a Sunday evening in Durban. Set in the Durban Botanical Gardens, the series promises you great music in the surrounds of a picturesque lake setting, beneath a canopy of majestic old trees.

Held once a month on a Saturday or Sunday from February to December 2017, these open-air concerts cater for all music tastes, from rock, funk and folk to philharmonic orchestral grooves.

The Old Mutual National Choir Festival

The Old Mutual National Choir Festival is a national choral music competition conducted at district and regional/provincial level culminating in a National Final. It is an annual event that runs from January to December. Old Mutual has given financial backing for this project since 1988.

The name National Choir Festival (NCF) is widely recognised as a brand of its own in the choral music fraternity. The project goes beyond the borders of South Africa, with choirs from Lesotho, Botswana, Zimbabwe and Swaziland joining South African choirs in this exciting music development venture.

It is considered to be the biggest and best of the choir festivals and draws attendants and fans from all over the country and SADC region.

The Music Run™ by Old Mutual

Johannesburg is set to be rocked by The Music Run™ sponsored by Old Mutual and happening for the first time on the African continent on 4 February 2017 at the Riversands Farm Village in Midrand.  The unique event gives participants the opportunity to run, dance and sing their way through 5 music zones.
