Enjoy a fairy-tale Christmas at the Durban Botanic Gardens
Are you dreaming of a magical Christmas? The Old Mutual Music at the Lake outdoor entertainment series promises to immerse you in a starry wonderland this Christmas.
At sunset, on Saturday 3 December 2016, the lawns of the Durban Botanic Gardens will be transformed into an open air cinema for the screening of Disney’s “Santa Clause 2”.
“This new magical cinema experience is a variation on Carols by Candlelight, which has been an Old Mutual tradition for many years. We look forward to once again bringing friends and families together and providing them with a wonderful evening of celebration in natural surroundings,” says Old Mutual sponsorship manager Bandile Mngoma. “There’s no doubt that creating special memories is a great investment for families to make!”
Completing the festive family experience will be a massive illuminated baobab Christmas tree as well as a twilight Christmas market with all the delectable treats associated with this special time of the year.
More than 40 stalls will be selling a variety of gifts, decorations as well as tasty fare such as freshly made popcorn, mouth-watering mince pies and a range of hot and cold drinks.
Children will be well entertained with a dedicated kiddies area and the opportunity to take pictures with Santa.
